do you name it?

How many of you name your cars? If you do, why did you name it? What did you name it? My username is the name of my mustang because of the old song "Mustang Sally"

It's just another slow pony, I swear!

Yup.. Our cars are a reflection of our personality ...lol so they need a name.
My first mustang was called "TRIKPONY" ..but my current stang is affectionally known as "The Dirty Cheeto"

We call the ranger 1 Fast Ford, sometimes the lil ole ranger. Its kind of funny, when we came across the previous owner they had called it 1 Fast Truck (license plate: 1FSTTRK). And the mustang we call it 94nightmare, because that is what the previous owner named it, he joined the army and sold us the car. Kind of a sad story.

I have named all three of my cars I've owned, my first was a piecer 87 plymouth turismo duster...literally bought it out of a junk yard...I named that one Danielle after my ex who, like the duster, cost me alot of money and broke my heart...lol
My previous mustang that was lost in a traffic accident was named arcenio, which in greek(or latin?) means all that is man, and my current stang is named the beast...for now, until I grow more familiar with her and get a good one...

Haha, that's what I named my old plymouth turismo as well, pos...it was certainly a pos...(notice the board underneath to prevent oil spots)

She didn't have a name, but she was definitely female and had one hell of a personality. I've had Mustangs since my first and driven others, and none was ever quite like she was...name or no name.

I used to go by Bottled GT on all my other forums but now I've changed things up a bit and now the Moo-tang goes by "SPITFIRE"

I've named every car i've owned whether its a POS or not. Nowadays I let my daughter name them, and she always comes up with the right ones:

White stang - Molly
Maroon stang - Holly
Shiny Truck - Sammy
Farm Truck - Roger

Lately they're never anything cool or fancy, just ordinary people names, but I think "red rocket" (89 stang I had in 1998) or the "the shovel" (a 72 chevelle) were probably among my favorites.
