Drivers caught speeding on Hwy 22

Postby Jeremy on Wed Jul 23, 2008 12:50 pm

It seems every time we hear something in the news about speed racing, it's a mustang!

Is it just a coincidence, or are we a bunch of crazy drivers? (I am).

. Ely said he clocked the car going 123 mph on radar. Then, moments later, a Honda Civic sped by and it too was caught on Ely’s radar. This time, the car was going 117 mph.

Next time don't race a sportscar with your economy car!

the fastest I have ever been clocked in a mustang was "98" he was a very nice cop because I couldn't find my insurance car and wasn't doing 98..then again it helped to have a chick puking out of the side of the car while being pulled over and being 5 hours from home. she had "food poisoning"...all I really have to say is...having a trap speed 6 mph faster?! that civic should of gave up long before they got busted by the cop haha
It's just another slow pony, I swear!

you have to be careful going over 100 in Oregon, it can be a felony now. They can impound your car, and all kinds of crazy stuff.

It kinda sucks, considering i can shift into fourth gear at 105-115, its really easy to commit a felony in my 5.0. And I have been guilty of "engaging" in a little racing on I-5 with civics and the like.

One night a mitsubishe 4000GT (yeah you read that right) held his own out on I-5 at 150+. It was about 3:30 am with nobody on the highway, and I couldn't pull on him, and he couldn't pull on me. I really wanted him to pull over so I could ask him what he had going on. All I know is I heard blow off valves going, so I know he was turboed, but I am sure it wasn't stock. and I wanted to smoke him, but I couldn't pull it. Crazy stuff!
