Do you have a name for your car? It's not something I've ever done, but my parents always used to name their cars based on the letters on the licence plate.

I name all my vehicles. my 99 gt is named Victoria and my 05 gt is named Alexia

I haven’t done this so far. I think that cars are just a piece of machine that doesn’t need such name. They don’t even have lives. I might give a name for a cat or a dog because they have lives but I won’t give a name for a car.

I've only owned 3 cars in my life so far but the first 1 I named danielle, after my girlfriend cuz she was my first girlfriend and new at that time as well...lol, my second I didn't have a name I just called her the stang...the new one is named incendio which in greek means(I think?) "all that is man"

I didn't plan on naming her, but my mechanic kept calling her "Pegs Pony" and soon everyone was calling her that, so I gave in an accepted it, got the vanity plate and windshield decal

I've named every car I've driven. But now I usually let my daughter name them. Right now, I have two mustangs, holly and molly (they're sisters) and my truck's name is "sammy". Usually it is something that goes with the car:

Scotty Scottsdale
Billy Bronco
Cathy Cavalier
Prescilla Probe
Roger Ranger
Sally Stratus


And so forth. I think it's fun. If you don't name your cars they have no personality, and tend to break down more. Just in my experience anyway.

You haven't come accross a kid's Ladybird book called Tootles the Taxi have you? It's full of little rhymes and I can see your cars fitting in there perfectly with names like those

Nope...I got a real moustache but I do use a false accent when I say it... with a kinda deep voice and all!

Maybe I am a little crazy, but I talk to my cars and caress their curves..tell them when they have a done a good job..real positive reinforcement sort of thing...I swear it helps you win races..it gives you more horse power than decals lol
