Is a Cobra masculine?

Postby Green-Moo on Tue Jul 01, 2008 6:54 am

Someone on another forum I frequent described a Cobra as being a masculine car. I'd never thought of it like that before, but I guess it is.

So what make a car masculine or not? I don't mean who should drive it, but the gender of the car (if that makes any sense at all!!!!)

All of my cars are females, always have been always will be, doesn't matter what type they are. It has to do with how I love them and care for them it's like having a bond with the one you love...just that it's a car...and I'm not going to marry it or sleep with it haha
It's just another slow pony, I swear!

I have a friend in Portland, he is into old pontiac's, GTO's, Firebirds, and such. He once told me why the pontiac. As he told me it was because they used the heavy bottom ends, whereas on the Chevy's, it was an option. His GTO(69), was named George, because it had balls. Sure I can build up my 2V 4.6. I will grenade the engine at the 450 HP range. Balls start at about 400 HP. So my GT is a girl. I will be the first to admit. My car does not have enough of what I crave. She will have a s*x change, someday. Terminator style.

I'm glad that folk understood where I was coming from there! two different viewpoints on why though.

I was thinking about my cars. I don't reckon they've got enough personality to have a s*x or a name :(
