So I called mac yesterday to ask them about their exhaust systems...I was doing research for the upgrade I'm planning to do pretty soon. I was hoping to do a full header back but holy crap, 550 was the cheapest estimate for a long tube install alone!! And I want crossover and catback too! nevermind minster longtube!! so anyways, I spend hour and a half on the phonre with this lady named jane and she chews my ear off and tell me 20 different stories, somehow managing to answer allllll my questions in between her stories. She seemed like she was extremely knowlegable on mustangs and if I had had 615 dollars when I called I would have a MAC O/R prochamber and 2.5 inch catback in the mail as I type this. But of course I'm a poor dude so no such joy is headed my way. I was just wondering what you guys thought of MAC? I am deffinately sold on the sound of a pro chamber over an h and deffinately over an x but what about the cat back? and MAC as a brand?

From what I have seen mac offers some of the best prices out there for the quality. I know a few 05+ guys that our running their long tubes and for the price were pleasently surprised. I myself haven't heard anything bad about them yet, only good things.

That does seem like an awfully high price.

I think you get what you pay for though in a case like this, and although I'm no expert I think they produce some decent stuff.

If they produce good stuff I won't mind if they cost high.
