when your bored

What do you do when you're bored? Which type of movies or television shows do you watch? Do you play video games or go for a ride?

All the above, play video games used to be my thing, now i dont have my 360 any cuz i'm in college, so lately I've gotten hooked on court tv and have currently seen every epsiode of cops ever made. I would go for rides but my mom sees my gas bill each month and rides my case for it. i usually just get on ebay and type in mustang and scroll through the millions of things listed on there...what do you do?

Wow, i havn't really been bored for a while now, last semestor i was a lot, cus i had to re-adjust my life, used to having car+tv+computer, but now away at college i don't have any of them, just my laptop which isn't anywhere near as good as my computer back home is.

so now I go to sites like http://www.tv-links.cc and watch a random movie if I have the time, but really what i do about 80% of time i'm not in class or doing school work I either train or condition for Parkour. basically that ends up with me being out 3 days a week for 4-5 hours training parkour with a group of us traceurs. The other two days I either train on my own or condition (running, working out, etc) and than on the weekends we usually hit up one of the big cities near us (boston, providence, etc) and jam (its what a get together is called) there all day.

so yeah, if none of that made sense go to http://www.parkour.tv and watch some vids

when i said if you don't understand anything i just said to watch some video's on http://www.parkour.tv i meant it, its much easier to see it than to strait explain it however I'll give it a try

traceur is simply someone who practices Parkour, a dancer dances, pianist playes piano, and a traceur practices parkour (ohh and to pronounce it its trace just like in english and than just er so basically it sounds like your saying someone who traces; parkour is park just like normal and than or so its park-or)

Parkour however is a we bit hard to describe so i'll do my best to steal it from other better linguistically abled people:

[parkour] ...is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body.It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment — from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls — and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. Parkour practitioners are referred to as traceurs.

"the physical aspect of parkour is getting over all the obstacles in your path as you would in an emergency. You want to move in such a way, with any movement, as to help you gain the most ground on someone or something, whether escaping from it or chasing toward it."Thus, when faced with a hostile confrontation with a person, one will be able to speak, fight, or flee. As martial arts are a form of training for the fight, parkour is a form of training for the flight. Because of its unique nature, it is often said that parkour is in its own category: "Parkour is parkour." quote from David Belle the founder of the sport

if you've ever seen Live free or Die hard, the frenchman who jumps onto the fence that bruce willis hits and than later jumps out of the helicopter and finally dashes around that cooling tower is a Traceur, and the first lke 10 minutes of Casino Royale is a parkour chase

the best video i can think of to show you is

http://www.parkour.tv/show-video.php?vi ... ow-outdoor
(THIS IS NOT ME!, i currently lack any video's of myself, which will hopefully be remedied soon)

hope that helps

I come online and post on random forums, lol. Nah, in general, I do get online or play video games a lot. I'm usually too busy to actually get bored, but I like to relax on my off time. It's not uncommon for me to go for a ride in the evenings or make an excuse to go to the store or something.

I'm not gonna lie to you guys, about 60% of the stuff you see on those vids is way beyond me...for now, most of the stuff you see on there is by people who have practicing for years, most like 5+ some on the order of like 10-15 where as I'm at about 6 months, regardless, a lot of that stuff is the same as what I do just on a bigger scale, and other than working on/racing my car it is the most fun i've ever had...the best part about all of it though is that anyone can learn it, and I mean anyone, when i (5'8" bout 135 so skinny as hell) can climb a 12 foot wall, anyone can, haha.
