Star wars 4 er...um....I hear noises part 4

Postby josiahes on Sun May 25, 2008 5:14 pm

so i finally got my tensioner pulley changed, that seems to have been creating the noise because I don't hear it anymore...took maybe 30 minutes to swap out and put the new one in...I decided 70 was to much for me so I bought a slightly used on of ebay for 35...I guess it came from a 99 saleen or soemthing like that? but it bolted right in and everything went smoothly!! I tyook my other tensioner pulley apart just for fun and that thin was dry as the saraha desert...definatelly the problem! so anyways thanks for all the help and I hope you all enjoyed this on going thread as much as I did.

It’s nice to hear that you have fixed it up finally. I was wondering on doing it myself on my own car.

It was a really simple swap, you can find instruction on how to do it online, talk to a ford dealership, or if you wanna just hop in and have any questions shoot em my way and i'll do what I can!

This thread has jinxed me. Last year I replaced two. In my little blue slopony(RIP), another in the Z-24(fukdup). In the last month, I have thrown 1800 bucks(mods), at the GT. Tonite I jump on the throttle, hit second, guess what. Yeah, that familure screech. Oh well, at least it wasn't a rod through the block.
