I JUST Joined up so sorry form the short notice.

On July 4-5, McKinney Texas will take center stage to celebrate our freedom with Red, White and BOOM!

This two-day festival will feature non-stop activities for the entire family to enjoy at locations through the city. This hometown event will kick off at 10 a.m. on Friday July 4 in Historic Downtown McKinney. Activities include a Hometown Parade, Veterans Salute, Car Show and Sidewalk Sale for patrons to enjoy while experiencing the unique atmosphere our town square has to offer. At 4:30 p.m., residents and visitors from around the Metroplex and beyond will join us at the Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch for an evening of chart-topping music, food, fun and activities for all to enjoy. The evening will start out with a BANG when we introduce country musician, Josh Gracin. Gracin’s self-titled debut album has produced three consecutive Top 5 country radio singles. Gracin’s second single; Nothin’ To Lose, was a #1 hit. There will be a few surprises along the way, followed by an unforgettable fireworks celebration, lighting the night at dusk.

The fun does not stop there! On Saturday, July 5 the fun returns to Historic Downtown McKinney for an afternoon of ice cream sampling during the 13th Annual Killis Melton Ice Cream Crank Off. Over 107 shops in historic downtown will showcase their treasures during the second day of our annual Sidewalk Sale.

This event is free and open to the general public. The community, including: sponsors, volunteers, the City of McKinney, Craig Ranch, Red, White and BOOM! Committee members, the shops in Downtown McKinney and McKinney Main Street, have joined forces to make this event possible.

On behalf of the Red, White and BOOM! Committee, thank you in advance for your support. We look forward seeing you around town on July 4 and 5.
