Toward the bottom of this post is a link to pictures of my 1986 Ford Mustang. I'm only 14 but i started working at buying parts for this car at age 13. It was originally a tired and worn out v-6 with at least 250,000 miles when I bought it. My dad has helped me along the way in putting in the 302 and testing it for me at the track since I'm too young. I don't know much about the motor except for it's got an after market lumpy cam and possibly a gear drive I'm not sure. I bought the motor out of a salvaged pro-street Ford Ranger. That's why i don't know much about it. I no the wheels are ugly but I'm saving money and I'm hoping to put a set of cobra r's on it after the 5 lug conversion that's in it's near future. The 302 is mated to a near perfect C-4 automatic transmission. I've also put in 3.73 gears into the 7.5 rear end since I've had it. After I got it running like i thought it should, me and my pops decided to paint it. The color is daytona blue pearl. Since then, I've proceeded to put an edelbrock 750 carb and rear windows out of an '87 Mustang. The car still has alot of work to do, but not to bad for a 14 year old huh? I also plan on adding in racing seats and 5-point harnesses. So far I have less than 2 grand invested in it, but with an automatic transmission, It's only running mid 13's. I hope to boost the time a little bit with a decent intake. But that's all for now.
